Permanent Lip Coloring

Permanent lip coloring, also known as lip blush or micropigmentation, is a cosmetic procedure that enhances the natural color and shape of the lips. It involves using a specialized tattooing machine to deposit pigment into the lips, creating a long-lasting lip color. This technique can address uneven lip tones, discoloration, and lack of definition, resulting in fuller, more defined lips.

WHAT IS THE TREATMENT?

Procedure :

  • Consultation
  • Anesthesia
  • Pigment Deposition
HOW DOES IT WORK?

This method enhances the natural lip color and shape, giving the lips a fuller, more defined look. The results can last for several years, depending on factors like skin type and aftercare.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The initial color appears darker and may be accompanied by some swelling, but it fades to a more natural shade as the lips heal. The final results, which are typically visible within 3-4 weeks, offer a long-lasting, low-maintenance lip color that can enhance natural lip color, correct asymmetry, or neutralize dark tones.

AFTERCARE ADVICE

Aftercare tips include:

  • Gently cleanse the lips with a damp cotton pad or tissue after each meal to remove debris and bacteria.
  • Apply a thin layer of the recommended healing ointment or balm several times a day to keep the lips hydrated and prevent dryness.
  • Refrain from eating spicy, salty, or hot foods and drinks, as well as acidic beverages, for at least a week.
  • Avoid using harsh soaps, scrubs, or exfoliants on the lips, as these can irritate the healing area.
  • Avoid smoking as it can slow down the healing process.
  • Protect the lips from direct sun exposure by wearing sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and support the healing process.
  • Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid sleeping on your face to prevent rubbing and infection.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, and saunas for the first few days after the treatment to prevent irritation and pigment washout.
